Food and support for everyone who needs it
Helping families out of crisis and building long-term life resilience
Supporting households across the Island with affordable food.
Open Every Wednesday 11am – 1pm & 5pm – 7pm Launched in May 2023 at The Church of the Double Portion (formerly Newport Congregational Church), The Pyle Street Pantry is dedicated to helping people out of crisis and building long-term life resilience. We make it easy to access food and support in a warm, welcoming environment. We encourage you to use only one pantry per week, helping ensure fair access for everyone and allowing us to support as many households as possible.

Open to everyone, built around community.
Our pantry is open to anyone in the local community who needs a helping hand and community
connection. By signing up, members can access up to £15 worth of groceries and daily
essentials for a small contribution of £5.
We understand that getting out and about isn't always easy, so we offer a delivery service for those
who cannot collect their items in person. For everyone visiting the pantry, we provide a welcoming
environment with refreshments and a comfortable space to sit down and chat.

The Pyle Street Pantry is a community pantry supporting around 100 households each week. We
offer a range of groceries, activities, wraparound support, and opportunities for social
connection, creating a friendly, safe, and inclusive space that responds to the needs of the
local community.
We are always in need of donations to continue supporting our community,
